We met a sleeping particle of microcrystalline cellulose in AlfatestLab. Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a pure partially depolymerized cellulose synthesized from α-cellulose precursor (type Iβ), is a pure, white powder without any taste or smell and High compressibility. Microcrystalline cellulose is commonly used in vitamin supplements or tablets. The image is acquired with Phenom XL by Phenom-World Thermo Scientific (Acceleration voltages 15kv, magnification 1750x) and shows a particle that have 154 um diameter, spherical morphology and irregular surface.
From non-invasive analysis, it doesn’t wake up yet!
